I have a short story in this publication, Crimeucopia: Through the Past Darkly, along with 20 other authors. All of the stories are set in the past.
Some are cozy mysteries, some cozy noir, others historical fiction, private eye stories, and a whole spectrum of crime fiction sub-genres.
The book is available from amazon and barnes and noble. The publisher is Murderous Ink Press. As you can tell from the cover, some of the stories are dark. If it sounds like something someone you know might like, please pass the word.

The New York City Counsil has co-named a street after Patrolman Arthur J. Kenney in Queens at the intersection of 90th Avenue and 80th Road where he was fatally shot in 1926 in pursuit of the notorious Radio Burglar. Kenney's story has been told in the book "The Radio Burglar: Thief Turned Cop Killer in 1920s Queens" by John T. Aquino, which brought new attention to Kenney and led to the co-naming. Aquino and his wife Deborah spoked at the dedication ceremony.
A video of the ceremony is at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdCjeGBSV3U&t=69s
